Payment Terms
Invoices are issued after an appointment has been completed. Full payment for all appointments must be made within 30 days of an invoice being issued.
A £200 deposit is required to secure an initial diagnostic assessment or an initial medication review. This will be fully refundable if you cancel your appointment up to seven days before the appointment date. Cancellations made after this time or missed appointments are non-refundable. A further £200 deposit will be requested to rebook an initial assessment.
If a follow-up appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged the full price of the appointment.
If we do not receive payment within 30 days of the invoice being issued, we will issue a reminder notice 14 days after the payment is due. If payment is not received within 7 days of this reminder, a Final Notice Before Commencement of Court Proceedings will be issued. If we are required to use this notice, in addition to the money already owed, we will exercise our statutory right the terms of which are implied by The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. This legislation entitles us to claim interest (at 8% over the Bank of England base rate) and compensation for debt recovery costs, because we were not paid according to our agreed credit terms.
Appointments or prescriptions may be withheld when previous invoices remain unpaid after the 30-day payment period.
